Magic Kingdom

Magic Kingdom is one of Disney's four theme parks. Personally, it is my absolute favorite. There is so much to do and it's a little child's fantasy. Cinderella's castle is one of the favorites when it comes to girls. You can take pictures with just about every Disney Princess there.( Cinderella, Bell, Snow White, Ariel, and Jasmine.) Parades are done daily, which include marching bands, dancers, Mickey and Minnie, and all the other Disney Characters are changed daily. Magic Kingdom is divided into seven parts. they are Main Street U.S.A., Adventureland, Frontierland, Liberty Square, Fantasyland, Mickey's Toontown Fair, and the famous Tomorrowland. When you first walk through Magic Kingdom's gates you see Main street.

It is lined with candy stores, where you can get anything from candy apples, to popcorn, to cotton candy, and even sour gummy worms. Ice cream shops, and souvenir stores are there too. One of the new attractions is Lilo and Stitch. On this ride you go on an adventure where you go into a circular room and sit in black chairs. the whole time you are squirted with water from Stitch and you are watching him being captured.

One of the more familiar rides are the three mountains. Splash mountain, Thunder mountain, and Space mountain. Splash mountain is where you get in a boat and go inside of a mountain and your riding to the top. The whole time you get sprayed with water and you watch scenes from a Disney movie. When you reach the top you go down 5 stories and get splashed with water galore. Everyone seems to have a fabulous time. Thunder mountain is more of a roller coaster and so is space mountain. thunder mountain looks like a giant reddish rock. It has a wild west theme. You go whizzing through little caves and you always look like you going to hit something, but your not. It is truly exciting.

Space mountain is also a roller coaster. It has a height requirement just like all of the other mountains too. The room is spacious and while you wait in line, you get to see space finding and sets. When you get on it's a little rocket that you are riding that fits three people. This ride is faster than most. There is a star scene that creates the atmosphere of being in space. You then get to a huge drop that makes you feel your heart hit your stomach. It tops them all. for smaller children, the Mad Tea Party is a must.

You ride in a circle on little tea cups that you make spin in circles too. there is also the absolute favorite and known world wide It's a Small World. It is one of the oldest rides that has just recently been restored. You get on a huge boat that slowly lets you drift into different worlds where you will get to experience and get a taste of every country's culture. At the end you see signs that say good bye and thank you in an immense diversity of languages. For more grown up people I would suggest the Haunted Mansion. Here you are escorted by old maids to your seats where you are toured around the Mansion to face 999 ghosts. They are dancing around the dining room tables and sometimes, even are sitting with you! Pirates of the Caribbean is another scary adventure.

You are sat in a boat that is similar to the one in it's a small world but is definitely not as happy. You are taken to see pirates just being their scary selves. They growl at you and shoot cannons at you to, so be alert! If you would rather just sit back and relax you can see Mickey's Philharmagic. this is a giant movie screen that is 25 feet tall and 100 feet wide. It is the largest seamless screen in the world! You get to see different original and new Disney movies come together to whatever of your liking. Two other attractions are the Many Adventures of Whine the Pooh and Peter Pan's Flight. the Whine the Pooh ride is just adorable. You ride through your favorite stories from the Hundred Acre Woods. At the end you get off and you go into a souvenir store that is packed with Whine the Pooh things. They have everything form key chains, to coffee mugs, to diary's and stuffed characters too. On Peter Pan's Flight you  get in a flying Pirate ship and go into never land. Two rides that are quite similar are the Magic Carpets of Aladdin and Dumbo the Flying Elephant. On both rides you fly in a circle in the air navigating either Dumbo or a magic carpet. These rides are all unique and I haven't even named them all. To be exact there are 33 magical adventures to go on at Magic Kingdom. I hope you get to enjoy every last one of them.
